Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager #

Create and edit tags using Google Tag Manager #

In order for Google Tag Manager & Groupdesk to work together, you will have to provide the GTM ID to your Groupdesk contact. Once this is set up, you can create and edit tags yourself.

We recommend you create a Google Tag Manager container just for your Groupdesk web projects. (ie: You’ll have a different key for your main website and your Groupdesk Traveler Interface subdomain)

How to access your Google Tag Manager: #

  1. Open the Google Account associated with your Google Tag Manager

  2. Create or edit the container for the tag you’re adding

  3. Add code snippet with the Google Tag Manager Key you want (you might have multiple to track different sites or sub-sites)

  4. Save, refresh, and test

Examples of what you can manage with Google Tag Manager:

  • Google Analytics

  • Facebook Pixels

  • Adding a Chat Bubble (ie: Front, Intercom)
